Your past is not
your destination.

A second chance should come with a real way forward. We’re building PathBack to connect the resources, relationships, and everyday support that help people rebuild their lives.

Community first. A future in focus.Reentry · Stability · Upward mobility

Coming home
shouldn’t mean
starting alone.

The door opens. The obstacles don’t disappear.

A place to live. A way to work. An appointment across town. Paperwork, deadlines, and another office asking you to tell your story again.

When resources are scattered and the next step is unclear, the person trying to rebuild becomes the one responsible for connecting everything.

After enough closed doors, it can feel as though the system expects you to fail. Trust fades. An opportunity slips away. The cycle continues.

A person’s future should not depend on how well they can navigate a fragmented system.

02

We keep paying
for the cycle.
People pay the price.

Public dollars support corrections year after year. The human costs reach further: interrupted families, lost work, unstable housing, and communities living with the consequences.

We believe too much effort is lost between programs: another referral, another missed connection, another expensive restart. Public resources should help support reach the right person, in a useful way, at the right time.

These figures describe different national datasets and years. Spending is a total budget, not a measure of waste; rearrest is not the same as reconviction. Neither figure measures PathBack’s results.

Imagine more of our effort reaching people
before another door closes.

03

Put the person
back at the center.

Resources already exist. People already care. The opportunity is to connect them around a shared path—and keep the person walking that path involved.

You.A whole person.
A future worth building.

Stability starts with somewhere to land.

A safe place to sleep changes what becomes possible tomorrow. Housing support belongs in the same conversation as work, transportation, health, and the people someone can count on.

Housing connects to every next step.

04

Connection is
only the beginning.
Follow-through matters.

PathBack is a platform for upward mobility and reentry. Its purpose is practical: help people and organizations see the path, understand the next step, and stay connected to the work that follows.

Why timely, tailored support matters

Start with the person.

Listen before making a plan. Goals, barriers, strengths, and priorities should come from a fuller picture of someone’s life.

Connect the support.

Bring community resources and the people providing them into a clearer view, so the next step can be more than another referral.

Keep the path visible.

Use shared next steps, support tracking, and permission-aware coordination to make follow-through easier to understand.

Learn from real progress.

Help organizations see what support is reaching people and where gaps remain. Better visibility should serve better decisions, with people in control.

More than a record.
More than a referral.
A person with a future.

Technology can make connections visible. Communities make them matter.

05

A stronger path takes
all of us.

Churches. Community organizations. Employers. Service providers. Funders. People with lived experience. If you see where support breaks down—and what a better connection could look like—we want that conversation.
